*AugieDogzPitbulls does not sell any of its puppies to or through pet stores.
* The price ranges of our pitbulls run from $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 dollars.
* A deposit of $250.00 dollars per puppy is required. Once deposit is received the puppy is marked "sold" with the purchaser's name. We accept the following modes of payment: Western Union, PayPal or money orders from the U.S Post Office.
* We screen our clients, select good homes for our puppies and advise our clients on caring for the breed.
*We test for, and guarantee, the health and temperament of our puppies. We provide medical history and detailed documentation of our pups' lineage as proof of their health, genetics, socialization and development.
* We do not sell multiple breeds of dogs; we specialize in only our favorite: the Blue American Pitbull.
* We posess extensive knowledge of our breed's history, traits, temperament, and confirmation. We have years of experience with the breed.
* We show our purebred pups in respected dog shows locally and nationally in obedience trial competitions, as well as sport and athletics and show and performance drills. As responsible breeders, we want to ensure that our dogs display the physical and behavioral traits desired for our American Pitbull Terrier.
*Our pups are bred with careful planning, social interaction and medical attention. They make wonderful pets. While ranked dogs are a plus, rank itself is not a sole indicator of quality.
* We raise our dogs as loving, obedience trained pets, fully assured that their offspring will be good pets as well.
* We value the reputation and welfare of the American Pit-bull and seek to preserve the integrity of the breed. We do not sell pups as a for-profit business. Many reputable breeders lose money, since breeding and caring for puppies in a responsible, quality-focused manner is typically expensive. Our goal is to breed dogs that are great companions and fine representatives of their breed.
* We test our dogs for diseases, like Brucellosis, prior to breeding. Thorough genetic screening enables responsible breeders to minimize their chances of producing less than healthy pups.
* We provide a written guarantee which covers genetic diseases of the puppy, at time of sale.
* We strive to place our quality pitbulls into quality homes. Though we understand the temptation to breed our beautiful dogs, and though it is flattering, breeding is best left to the professionals. To this end we seek to encourage our customers to spay/neuter their pups and enjoy them for a lifetime.
* We will provide advice and guidance to our customers. We will interview and may visit the homes of propective customers, placing our pups only with people who demonstrate they can provide a safe haven for them.
* We have our bitches and stud dogs on premises to let prospective owners observe our dog’s health, temperment and behavior. As a responsible breeder I mate my bitches to the best male, not the most convenient one.
* We breed our bitches in their second heat period or thereafter, we breed our bitches only a limited number of times, and not every year.
* We keep a waiting list of qualified customers in advance of a litter.
* We do not separate pups from their mother and litter before 8 weeks of age. We also deworm and vaccinate our puppies.
* All of our dogs and puppies enjoy a natural diet. They are fed “Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete” 32% protein and 25% fat.
* We ship our pitbulls with Continental or Delta Cargo Airlines- shipping methods are prepaid or freight collect; our animal transportation fee is $300.00 which includes airfare, puppy crate, and gas.
* We will provide references for our happy puppy owners, upon request.
